At our Rehabilitation Centre, we care for primates recovering from mistreatment who were once circus or television performers, advertising models, or even kept as pets.

This is a form of abuse that, until recently, went unseen in our society. Many have spent years in complete isolation and in terrible conditions.

MONA provides a home for these rescued primates, where they can recover by living in family groups with their own kind, in a natural environment.

Fundació MONA is a non‑profit organisation, registered with number 1404 at the Department of Justice of the Government of Catalonia.
