EDUCATION
MONAeduca was created as an environmental education initiative at the MONA Foundation, with the aim of fostering values of respect and empathy towards animals and the natural world among students.
The current situation of many primate species is highly critical and requires urgent measures. However, we also know that addressing this issue successfully depends on the next generations being able to continue the vital work of protection, awareness, and education.
For this reason, in 2004, we established the Environmental Education Department of the MONA Foundation to share and promote values that encourage respect for wildlife and nature. Our goal is for students to move into action and become actively involved in potential solutions, transforming themselves into agents of change for a more sustainable and respectful society.
