Practical training to protect primates

If you have ever dreamed of working in primate conservation, this is your chance. MONATYC, Fundació MONA’s intensive training program, is now open for enrollment for the March to June 2025 edition.

What is MONATYC?

It’s much more than a course. MONATYC is a 16-week experience where you will immerse yourself in the daily life of a primate rescue center, with more than 400 hours of specialized training, of which 150 are real practical sessions. You will learn directly from professionals about:

✅ Primate care and rehabilitation in a real environment.

✅ Animal welfare and environmental enrichment to improve their quality of life.

✅ Ethological observation and ZooMonitor, a key tool for studying primate behavior.

✅ Environmental education to inspire others to protect biodiversity.

✅ Conservation project management, preparing you for the professional field.

What makes MONATYC special?
