The quality of nighttime rest affects the next day’s activity. That’s why we record the humidity and temperature of the bedrooms, as well as the sounds of the night.

Is anyone coughing? How many times do they wake up? Have they argued? Everything helps us to improve their wellbeing.

Cortisol studies

With fecal and hair samples from the chimpanzees after their social integrations, we obtain an objective measure of the stress they experience. Another tool to help caretakers take the next steps during these critical moments.
